Meet Martina
Orangette is a one-woman project that wants to deliver real-homemade family-friendly food on people's tables.

All ingredients are sourced locally - meaning local markets, local butchers, independent small producers - and all dishes are made entirely from scratch.
​
The sample menus and to-go plates you'll find on the website will hopefully be an inspiration for your own tailored dishes, as every recipe can be tailored to suit your and your family, friends & guests' tastes, dietary needs & choices.

I am Martina, Mattie for friends. Born and bred in Italy from Sicilian parents, I learnt to cook ragu and fry aubergines at the tender age of 5. Simple, genuine, home cooked and locally sourced food is the one and only for me - there is nothing more special than freshly baked bread, glazed with nutty olive oil and sprinkled with sea-salt.

After studying and working in food & food publishing in London for eight years, I have landed in South-West France, where I have re-discovered the beauty of butters and the immense joys of countryside life.

A delicious birthday dinner prepared, cooked and delivered by Mattie. As a family we have our fair share of food intolerances between us. Mattie adapted our meal accordingly and I was able to order exactly what I wanted for my birthday meal. It was delicious. This is an excellent local service and I would highly recommend it. The meal was delicious - perfect for us. Vegetables were roasted to perfection, beautifully caramelized with a lovely sticky sweetness. The lamb was so good, falling off the bone with wonderful seasoning and sauce. Loved it!
